John commenced with Karlka in Jan 2017, with the goal to develop employment and business opportunities for the Nyiyaparli people. An integral part of this was the acquisition of FenceWright by Karlka in 2018. During John’s career spanning over 25 years, he has worked his way through various industry roles with the simple philosophy of being open & honest with clients, staff and has a reputation for developing relationships conducive to achieving successful client and operational goals.
Michael has been with FenceWright since its inception. He has worked in numerous positions across the journey from onsite supervisor to his current position as General Manager. Extensive knowledge from a long history in the Fencing industry allows him to oversee all areas of the business, encouraging growth, innovation and development. Michael is extremely passionate regarding customer and client satisfaction, driving a culture of continuous improvement from the top down. Michael has forged a great team of exceptional managers to drive the business forward as Karlka FenceWright strives to be Australia’s leading Security Fencing Contractor of choice.
Finance Manager & State Manager (WA)
Sid commenced with FenceWright in early 2018 as Finance Manager. He has over 15 years of experience in a variety of industries including Construction, Maintenance, Civil, Manufacturing and EPCM’s. During 2019, he took on the additional responsibility for West Coast operations as State Manager. Sid enjoys operations and being involved with a can-do attitude within the business and the positivity that this brings to our clients.
National Business Development Manager
Steve joined the FenceWright team in 2014. In this time, he has performed numerous roles for both our WA and QLD branches. Steve has been involved in the Fencing industry for over 10 years. Beginning as a Fence Installer working on both metro and remote projects Nationwide, Steve now manages our sales division for WA and QLD working closely with our clients to provide solutions that are cost effective and time efficient in accordance with project specific requirements. With an eye for detail, exceptional communication skills and extensive experience in the industry, you can rest assured that Steve will look after you throughout the sales and project award process with FenceWright.
Shane has been with FenceWright since 2013. In that time, he has worked in numerous roles and been involved in some of FenceWright’s largest and most complex projects. Shane comes from a mechanical background. His ability to problem solve and provide practical and cost effective solutions, has contributed to our success as a business to date. Shane oversees every aspect of our project timeline, from handover stage with our sales team, right through to project completion and sign off with our clients. His attention to detail and leadership skills ensures everyone involved in our projects work together to achieve the same goals.
Tony started with FenceWright in 2015 working as a Fence Installer on our Metro and Remote projects. With a background in Forestry operations, Tony is practically minded with a great understanding of various mechanical plant and equipment. In 2018 Tony began an office-based role as Project Manager. Tony’s history, as well as his time in the field fencing has been instrumental to his success in the role. Paired with his leadership and communication skills you can rest assured that your project is in good hands.
Scheduler & Operations Assistant
Larissa started with FenceWright in 2018 and has since worked in various administrative roles. With having over 15 years administrative experience, in multiple work sectors, Larissa has been instrumental to our growth as a business. Larissa started a new role in 2021 joining our operations team. Larissa’s exceptional organisation and time management skills are an asset to FenceWright which is clearly reflected in the level of customer service we provide.
With over 35 years of Fencing experience there is very little that Glenn does not know about the industry. Glenn has been involved with FenceWright since it was founded in 2010 and has been a mentor for our entire team during his time. In 2019 Glenn moved to Port Hedland and has been operating from the Pilbara since. Glenn is extremely driven, devoted to his work and servicing our clients Nationwide. His history in the industry enables a level of customer service unmatched by others. With his wealth of knowledge, there is no project that Glenn can not assist with. This has been of great value to many of our clients over the years.
Jared joined FenceWright in 2017 assisting our operations team, project management and supervisory tasks on our larger more involved projects. Prior to FenceWright Jared was an Electrician. With no prior Fencing experience, it is a testament to Jared’s ability to adapt and learn, soon becoming a valuable asset to our business. In 2018 Jared moved over to our sales division and now services clients Nationwide. Jared is dedicated to providing great customer service going out his way to ensure our clients are provided with cost effective solutions for their projects.
Kendra joined the FenceWright sales team in 2020. With extensive experience in the residential and commercial industry, Kendra is highly knowledgeable and is willing to go the extra distance ensuring our clients are satisfied with their experience dealing with FenceWright.
Petrina has been with FenceWright for over 5 years being an integral part of the team and fabric of the business. She has significant experience within the Accounts and Payroll functions and has used her knowledge to help the business within other areas including auditing of our quality, safety, and environmental systems.
Purchasing – WA Logistics – QHSE Manager WA & QLD
Tina has been working with FenceWright since 2015, looking after Procurement, Logistics and QHSE for the business. With over 30 years’ experience in this role, throughout a wide range of industries, Tina has been instrumental to our growth as a business. Incorporating our ISO Certifications for Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems is a testament to her hard work and dedication to her role. Her drive to ensure strict project timelines / deadlines are met is reflected in our ability to complete our projects on time and under budget time and time again.
Reception & Administration
Cassie joined the FenceWright team in 2020. With over 10 years of administrative experience, in multiple work sectors, Cassie has been instrumental to our growth as a business. She is not only the friendly voice for clients & suppliers that phone or visit the Perth office, but Cassie also assists our Operations, Sales and Accounts teams with day-to-day requirements. Cassie’s attention to detail, exceptional organisational and time management skills are an asset to FenceWright which clearly reflects in our level of customer service provided.
