Recent Projects

WA’s Most Experienced Fencing Contractor Since 2008

Recently, our team completed the installation of heritage delineation across a number of significant heritage sites at Yandicoogina for Rio Tinto.

These works are on Country for our parent company, Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC, and hold deep cultural significance. Protecting and respecting these areas is not just a compliance requirement – it is a responsibility.

The delineation ensures that culturally important sites are clearly identified and safeguarded, helping to prevent inadvertent access or disturbance. The markers provide a clear visual reminder in accordance with the instructions of Nyiyaparli Traditional Owners to be mindful of where you are and the significance of the land beneath your feet – while also being designed to sit respectfully within the Pilbara landscape without detracting from its natural beauty.

We’re proud to contribute to work that supports the protection of Country, reinforces cultural heritage values, and promotes responsible operations on site.

As a Nyiyaparli business, Karlka Fencewright is proud to have recently completed a fencing project for McNally on Yurlu at Rhodes Ridge Camp, delivering the installation of 1,228 linear metres of chainmesh security fencing and 14 chainmesh gates.
The project was completed efficiently across multiple areas of the site, and we’re especially proud of the positive feedback received regarding our installation crew.
“I wanted to take a moment to extend my sincere appreciation for the outstanding work the guys have done. Their professionalism and behaviours are a credit to your company. It is not often we have contractors arrive to site that are self-sufficient and get on with their tasks with minimal fuss. The guys were respectful of site requirements, complied with all requests, and the workmanship was to a high standard.”
A big thank you to McNally for the opportunity and trust, and congratulations to our team for consistently delivering high-quality outcomes on site.

We’re excited to share a recent project our team completed at the Jundee Mine Site aerodrome, upgrading the perimeter fencing to help keep this critical piece of infrastructure safe and reliable.

A big thank-you to our client’s project team. Their straightforward communication and collaborative approach made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. It’s always great working with people who are genuinely invested in getting the best result.

Strong partnerships like this make all the difference, and we’re proud to have played a part in supporting the site’s ongoing operations

We’d like to take a moment to give a big shout-out to Skip, owner of Integrity Fencing.

Skip has been a loyal supporter since Karlka Fencewright made the move into manufacturing, consistently choosing our Australian-made materials for his projects.

We couldn’t be happier to see our products featured in a build as impressive as this cricket net installation for a local Shire here in Perth – from the concrete pad up, it’s all Integrity. It’s a perfect example of what happens when quality materials meet quality workmanship.

Thanks for the continued trust, Skip – partnerships like this are what it’s all about!

A few shots from the T2 Apron Expansion works at Perth Airport – the Karlka Fencewright team in action!

Delivering 424m of PAPL spec 358 Weldmesh fencing and concrete anti-dig plinth, purpose built to protect critical infrastructure.

We are proud to play our part in PAPL’s ongoing development alongside West Coast Civil – great to see our crew’s workmanship taking shape.

Karlka Fencewright is proud to announce the successful completion of one of our Pilbara projects at Ophthalmia Dam.

Our scope of work included the installation of 130 linear metres of chainmesh fencing, along with 5 double chainmesh gates, all custom-made in-house by our skilled KFW team.

A special shout-out to our installers, Cam and Dean, for their outstanding workmanship and professionalism.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this project in such a stunning part of the country.

Powering WA’s Renewable Future, & Building Pathways for Indigenous Participation!

The Collie Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) isn’t just another infrastructure project. It’s a key part of WA’s transition to renewable energy, and we’re proud that Karlka Fencewright could play a role in helping secure it.

As a 100% Indigenous owned business, being involved in projects like Collie BESS means more than just putting up fences. It’s about showing what’s possible when Indigenous Businesses are engaged meaningfully on major works. Opportunities like this create real outcomes, not just for our team, but for the communities we represent.

We delivered the Security fencing package in two stages, using 358 Securemax Weldmesh supplied in partnership with Australian Security Fencing (ASF). ensuring the site meets the highest security standards.

Big thanks to SCEE for the opportunity, and for supporting Indigenous participation in energy infrastructure that will shape WA’s future.

Another strong showing from the KFW team, this time at Geraldton Port for the Mid West Ports Authority.

We were engaged to remove and replace over 400 metres of fencing within an operational section of the port – a challenging environment with high traffic and strict safety protocols.

Given the coastal location and exposure to salt-laden air, durability was key. All steelwork for the new chainmesh fencing was manufactured using 316 stainless steel to withstand the corrosive environment and ensure longevity.

Appreciate the opportunity to work alongside the team at MWPA and their support in sequencing works to allow us to deliver the project safely and on time.

We are proud to share that Karlka Fencewright have successfully delivered the fencing package for Mineral Resources’ Ken’s Bore Haul Road project in Onslow, WA.

Our scope included more than 300 kilometres of agricultural fencing along both sides of the haul road, linking the new mine site to Onslow Port, as well as the supply and installation of gates and fauna underpasses throughout the alignment.

A huge effort from everyone involved. We’re proud to have played a role in bringing this critical piece of resource infrastructure online.

Karlka Fencewright WA are pleased to share that we have successfully completed Stage 1 of our scope at Pilbara Minerals Warehouse at Pilgangoora.

Stage 1 has included:

  • Supply & Install 830LM of 1800mm + 3 Row of Barb Chainmesh Security Fencing.
  • Supply & Install Double Chainmesh Gate 1800mm + 3 Rows of barb.

All materials for this project were manufactured in-house & were installed by one of our highly skilled fencing teams.

We look forward to our continued work on Stage 2 and a successful completion of this package for our valued client!

We’re excited to share the latest progress at Paris Grove Village. This chainmesh enclosure demonstrates that our in-house manufacturing of materials, especially chainmesh and wire products, continues to play a crucial role in this project. By controlling the supply chain from within, we’ve been able to respond swiftly to project demands, ensuring a seamless build process.

Thanks to our team’s dedication and the agility of our operations, this project is taking shape exactly as planned. Stay tuned for more updates as we move towards completion!
