Heritage Sites – Yandicoogina

Recently, our team completed the installation of heritage delineation across a number of significant heritage sites at Yandicoogina for Rio Tinto.

These works are on Country for our parent company, Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC, and hold deep cultural significance. Protecting and respecting these areas is not just a compliance requirement – it is a responsibility.

The delineation ensures that culturally important sites are clearly identified and safeguarded, helping to prevent inadvertent access or disturbance. The markers provide a clear visual reminder in accordance with the instructions of Nyiyaparli Traditional Owners to be mindful of where you are and the significance of the land beneath your feet – while also being designed to sit respectfully within the Pilbara landscape without detracting from its natural beauty.

We’re proud to contribute to work that supports the protection of Country, reinforces cultural heritage values, and promotes responsible operations on site.
