Our new down-the-hole hammer drills are capable of excavating fence post footings in all kinds of rocky terrain. DTH drills are one of the most efficient ways to drill hard rock, with the high-speed hammer breaking the ground into dust, which is then dispersed by the air exhaust. It is a highly accurate drilling method.
Once drilled, your fence can be installed on-site as easily as in the Perth suburbs.
One notable recent Karlka Fencewright major project was the Naval Communication Station Harold E. Holt RAAF base just north of Exmouth. Using DTH drilling, we supplied and installed 1600 lineal metres of high-security chain mesh fencing into solid rock terrain.
In the cyclonic regions of North West WA, including Broome, Port Hedland and Karratha, we can also install cyclone tie-downs. These are ideal for various applications including pipe stands, trusses, transportable accommodation, water tanks, plants and equipment. All cyclone tie-downs are pressure grouted into the cement, to provide the utmost stability.
For sensitive electrical infrastructure, including power stations, substations, transformers and power poles, Karlka Fencewright offers an earth rod drilling and installation service to ensure your zone is earthed safely, whether it’s in Perth or the regions. Holes are refilled using pressure-injected grout to the surface for a complete seal.
